Queenstown URA Draft Master Plan 2019
Terra Hill is situated in Pasir Panjang, which is at the southern part of Queenstown. Having the distinction of being Singapore’s first satellite town, Queenstown was initially developed in 1950s by the Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT). Subsequently, with the set up of Housing & Development Board (HDB) on 1 February 1960, the development of Queenstown was carried on by HDB.
While the addition of new private residential projects of Commonwealth Towers and Queens Peak have rejuvenated the Queenstown, the Singapore Government has further plans to develop Queenstown under the 2019 URA Draft Master Plan. There will be more new housing developments, community facilities, recreational spaces and commercial buildings.
The completion of these government plans would greatly improved the infrastructure of Queenstown and enhance the quality of life.
